WOODCOCK at Mayesbrook, yes I'm as shocked as you! Probably well overdue and with over 15 years of watching the park on and off, was about time this little puppy turned up, the recent cold snap was probably a big help.
With much of the lakes frozen, 70+Gadwall was still a great count, and 4 snipe along the stream showed just how cold its been the last week.
