Was alerted yesterday morning by a lots of birds mobbing what i was expecting to be a raptor of some sort and found this huge great thing in the canopy, he hung around just enough time for me to grab a couple of record shots before it carried on its way.
These Grove-billed ani's are very mischievous little creatures, always in small flocks and alway looking up to know good !!
This is the little ferruginous pygmy owl that i was chatting up the other day.
Excellent stuff. The toucan is the national bird of Belize.
