Migrant-less

Had a good smash around the patch this morning in the hope of some new spring migrants to be found.

Unfortunately the weather was absolutely stunning, with hardly a cloud in the sky, Rainham was pretty much a migrant free zone! Apart from a steady passage of Buzzard and a missed red kite it was pretty standard stuff.

A flock of 9 Common Scoter were the only new addition to the year list.

Nice to see two Short-eared owls together, with one bizarrely landing briefly on the foreshore.
