Sun at Last!

Today the weather was superb and all that was missing were all those spring migrants, walked through Rainham from the west end today in warm sunshine, lots of Reed bunts and Linnets singing and several Cetti's holding territory.

The river was calm and quite or bar several Oystercatcher and Grey Wag.

Meeting Jono and Pudding at Aveley Bay car-park we walk back to view Wennington where thousands of gulls are roosting and bathing and is not long when Jono "larus" Lethbridge adds a self found juv Glauc to his gull list! Sparrowhawk and Common Buzzard are also seen.
