Pager goes off at 4:05 am! to say that the Marmora's Warbler still showing Gwent, south wales,
5:30 am, Myself, Monkey, Shaunboy and Bradders are in the bradders mobile heading west.
Arriving at 8:30 we are treated to stunning views of the Marmora's singing on a dry stone wall and surrounding gorse.
Monkey can't wait to celebrate!
A visit to nags head (forest of dean) was a first for me, and didn't disappoint with cracking views of both Wood Warbler and Pied Fly.
A pit stop at the near bye Ostritch PH for lunch was well recommended by the faith full good pub guide where a Ploughman's showed well for a short period!
