Essex Cranes !

Saturdays Kent survey site was fairly quiet, lots and lots of birds but nothing different of note, still billions and
billions of waders on the low tide and Wigeon numbers still through the roof.

The regular Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, Little Owl, Bearded Tit, Green Sand, Mo added Merlin.

But the highlight for me was the first of the new DP World/Thames Gateway Cranes on show, still on the ship they arrived on ! how the hell a boat can carry these huge pieces of construction is beyond me.......

ooops is that me flushing those wigeon......
